Nursecall, building network, room phones, and staff iPhones. One contractor.
TotalConnect outfits care homes with the four systems staff actually use: VisionPRO nursecall, a UniFi network with cameras, an on-premises PBXact for the office and every resident room, and iPhones that receive nursecall and ring through to rooms.
The Four Pieces
1. VisionPRO Nursecall
We install and maintain Systems Technologies VisionPRO nursecall from Idaho — stations, annunciation, and the head-end the care team runs day to day. This is a real nursecall system, not a phone-system workaround and not a generic “alerting platform.”
2. UniFi building network
The home runs on Ubiquiti UniFi: a UDM-SE Pro Dream Machine at the core, UniFi access points for coverage, and UniFi cameras where the home needs eyes on doors, corridors, and common space. One network for staff devices, phones, cameras, and management — designed so voice and nursecall are not sitting on an overloaded guest SSID.
3. On-prem PBXact and copper to rooms
Administration and management get a proper PBXact system in the building. Each resident room gets a dedicated copper run and a phone. Family, nurses, and the front desk can reach the room without inventing a workaround on cellphones.
4. Staff iPhones
Care staff carry iPhones. We connect those handsets to nursecall and to resident rooms so an alert or a room call lands on the phone in the nurse’s pocket — not only on a panel at the desk.
Why this is sold as a package
Nursecall that cannot reach the nurse is a wall panel. Phones that cannot reach rooms are an office toy. Cameras and Wi-Fi that were added by three different vendors become three tickets when something breaks. We design the four pieces together and support them together.
What we do not sell on this page
We are not a fire-alarm company, an access-control manufacturer, or a wander-guard hardware vendor. Those systems stay with the specialists who build them. If a home already has a panel we can talk about how it sits beside VisionPRO and the phones. That conversation belongs on a site survey, not in a brochure.
